Nathan F Twining
Commander of bombing operations in both Europe and Pacific during World War II.
In 1945 he was appointed Commanding-General of the Air Materiel Command, based
at Wright Patterson AFB (then known as Wright Field).
A declassified secret document reveals that in September 1947 Twining presented the conclusions
of AMC that 'the phenomenon reported is something real'.
Twining suddenly cancelled a planned trip to the West Coast on 8th July, the day
of the Roswell press release reporting that they had captured a 'Flying Disk',
'due to a very important and sudden matter'.
Twining was also a member of the alleged Majestic-12 panel.
